Hello Everyone!  Before we get this blog fully up and running, I'd love for all my current and future subscribers to get to know me better. With this goal in mind, I am going to post some facts about me that I think you all should know. Now, these facts might be boring or fun depending on your definition of those words but nevertheless, they are a part of who I am and since this website is about being true to myself, I believe that this meets that expectation. So without further ado, here are some facts about me.

1. What is your full name?

✔️First born or christened.

3. Are you named after anyone?

✔️My father’s name is Christopher so the Chris part of my name came from him. I was

given Ruth in remembrance of my late great grandmother who raised my dad.

✔️I find the fact that my initials spells CRY Interesting.

5. If you had to change your first name, what would you change it to?                            ✔️Thurayyah.😉

✔️Chrissy or Thurayyah

✔️Jamaica!!!

✔️Spanish Town, Jamaica

✔️Mainly Spanish Town, Jamaica But also spent a few years in Mandeville, Jamaica as well.

10. What is your eye colour?

✔️The most boring colour-brown.

11. Which of your parents are you closest to?

✔️My mother 🤷🏽‍♀️

✔️ Neither ?

13. What relative was important to you growing up & why?

✔️Though I often pretend like he ruins my life the one relative I consider to be the most important to me growing up has to be my younger brother. Through the ups and the downs the good and the bad he has always been there for me. He is my greatest support system and I am truly grateful for all he's done for me, even though he can be annoying at times but hey, he is only nineteen and has a lot to learn.

14. What is one thing that you’ve never revealed to your parents?

✔️Lets just say my mother has the link to this blog soI'll leave the big reveal for a later date.

15. What is your biggest accomplishment?

✔️So far, I’d have to say getting into university.

16. What is your biggest fear?

✔️My parents dying. I am not sure I am ready to live without them in my life.

17. What is your biggest regret?

✔️ Going to university. Blog post coming on the reason why  I stated this.

✔️ The success of others

19. What has required the most courage of you in your life so far?                          

✔️Moving away from the only life I knew four years ago to a foreign country all alone.

✔️This is probably going to cause some controversy but Miley Cyrus.🤷🏽‍♀️ Sue me.

✔️  Liza Koshy and Lilly Singh. I especially love how they aren't afraid to just be themselves.

24. Who is your favourite musician/singer?

✔️ let me just list ten out of many in no particular order: Shawn Mendes, Ed Sheeran, Miley Cyrus, Brett Young, Rihanna, Beyonce, Nick Jonas, Brian Mcknight, Christina Perry

25. What is your favourite childhood memory?

✔️ Going to England for the first time. This is also when I found out that the person who plays Lee-Jordan in Harry Potter is related to me. Can you say epic fangirl moment.🤩😍

✔️Purple (all shades) and Gold.

✔️Pantomime

✔️ Hmm hard to say. I would have to say What, No cheese by Enid Blyton. I love classical fairy tales don't get me wrong but I also find them a bit cliche.

✔️ Jamaica 🙃 I haven't been to too many other places yet to know for certain.

✔️It's ice cream, I love them all !

✔️ Because my taste in music is eclectic it's hard to choose a favourite genre.

✔️  Dancing

✔️ Humpty Dumpty's Cheese puffs. For some reason I am addicted to this snack. It may be because of my fixation with cheese. 😅😋

✔️I don't like sports, but if my brother is running on a particular day then on that day it would be track and field.😉 On a serious note, Swimming, Horse back Riding, Ice and/or figure skating, cheerleading and dancing as well as track and field are all my favourites.

✔️ Sunset- because it means that night is nigh.

✔️Dresses!! I am absolutely in love with dresses.

✔️Absolutely terrified of un-enclosed heights.

47. Are you high maintenance?

✔️Definitely not. I'm only high maintenance to myself. I like to give myself a lot of attention but I absolutely detest spending money on myself and feel really uncomfortable when other's spend money on me, unless you are my parents. Then, by all means, feel free to spend all you want on me 💁🏽‍♀️

48. Are you more inclined to “build your own empire” or unleash the potential of others?  ✔️Why not do both?

✔️This depends on the situation. Conflict can't always be avoided.

✔️I'm a Bird , Rabbit, Hamster, fish type person.

✔️No.

✔️I've been told that I am an exceptional cook but I can't be too sure the opinion isn't biased.

✔️So far, I have been blessed with spectacular bosses.

✔️Indeed I can to an extent.

67. Do you remember your dreams?

✔️ Now this is something interesting that I am happy to share with you all. When I was younger my dreams were a way for me to remember my past. So things that happened to me when I was a child would come to me in dreams a few years after it happened and that's how I would end up remembering specific incidents in my life. Most recently I have noticed that I don't remember all my dreams, but when I do remember a dream, it is significant and almost always one of the scenes in the dream will play out in my life though not particularly word for word or action by action.

68. Do you save old greeting cards and letters? Throw them away?

✔️ I save them all! I have a box dedicated to saving them.

69. Do you sing in the shower?

✔️ If I am alone at home then yes.

70. Do you sleep with the lights on or off?

✔️ Off

71. Do you spell the colour as grey or gray?

✔️  I tend to use British spellings so grey 💁🏽‍♀️

72. Do you take any pills or medication daily?

✔️ Other than vitamins, no.

73. Do you prefer kissing or cuddling?

✔️Now that would be telling 😏

74. Do you prefer that people shoot straight with you or temper their words? Why?            ✔️ Shoot straight. I like to know where people stand with me and how they perceive me.

75. Do you have a catchphrase?

✔️Just do/be you. people are going to judge you no matter what you do so live your life how you see fit.

76. Do you have a hidden dream that you’ve never shared with anyone?                              ✔️ No. I love to share my dreams.

✔️No never have and never will.

78. Do you have a whole lot of acquaintances or just a few very close friends? Why?            ✔️A few close friends. I prefer to have few really close friends who I can trust than a large group of individuals who have ulterior motives.

✔️Not that I am aware of.

✔️ Not currently.

81. Do you believe ignorance is bliss? Why or why not?

✔️ It can be and at the same time it cannot be. Sure if you are ignorant to something then you can ignore the truth of some horrible matters in this world but eventually like the truth, it will catch up to you. This can be in the form of saying the wrong thing to someone who may be facing an issue you were ignorant to. (I recently experienced this from someone and while trying to educate them on the matter they seemed to not want to hear it or believe it.)

✔️ Myself.

✔️Marie Elizabeth Eagles and every day I thank God, the moon, the stars, heaven and earth and all the supernatural powers in the world that I met her. This is not an over-exaggeration.

87.Who would you tell first if you found a dead body in your garden?                                  ✔️ Probably my dad, he's a cop. He would know what course of action I should take, in reporting it of course.

✔️ In my honest opinion, just spending quality alone time together is pretty special.

✔️ How cruel the real world is.

✔️One where we get to know each other better-take your mind out of the gutter folks I meant on an intellectual level.

✔️ Honesty is the best policy. Though it may be hurtful I think being honest will help more in the long run.

96. How difficult is it for you to forgive someone who refuses to apologise?                        ✔️ I will forgive but doesn't necessarily mean I will forget.

✔️Approximately 3,211 kilometres.

✔️As a matter of fact it didn't  affect me

✔️ Four inclusive of the one I was born in.

✔️Never. I am a very cautious person.

✔️ A few. In Primary School Top Bluebell (a Shift) girl. In High School Top Religious Education Student. Can't remember if there were others.

✔️  I've read them all. Can't choose a favourite out of those particular three as they all fall under different categories.

✔️Twenty-one  😩

116. After a breakup, would you rather be alone or be surrounded by friends?                      ✔️ I always prefer being alone regardless so I'd have to say alone.

✔️Animals: none. Insects: spiders. I have no idea why I have a fear of spiders.

✔️ Biting my nails, bottling up my feelings and withdrawing into myself.

✔️ This changed often, first it was a paediatrician then it was a linguist but I've finally decided on Owning my own business and/or A Early Childhood Educator or Special Education Teacher

✔️Before I moved to Canada I called it soda, fizzy drink or soft drink. After moving to Canada I added the term pop to the list.

✔️ I collect a few things. I collect Fabric, Sand from different countries, Baby Clothes and Reborn Dolls.

✔️ Yes I do from years of watching others do it.

✔️I trust people wholeheartedly until they give me a reason not to. Bare in mind these are people that I have already gotten to know on a deeper level. Never trust strangers too much.

✔️If I can't sleep at night I either read or work on the books that I want to get published.

✔️I would prefer not going out in the day than in the night. I love the night and I tend to have more energy at night so it would be much better to go out at night than day. Just my personal experience.
